MtM has designed and constructed a unique and affordable point-of-care diagnostic system (ADAM™-MICROTEST™ Slide) based on protein microarray technology, which is capable of performing diagnosis against hundreds of analytes for a wide spectrum of different diseases.
The system comprises a proprietary lateral flow device that dramatically simplifies the handling of biochemical reactions over miniaturized microarray assays in a temporally-controlled manner (MICROTEST™ Slide) and a novel and inexpensive solution for capturing and elaborating the fluorescent signal generated by miniaturized microarray assays. In use, the patient sample is added to the sample port and fluid flows rapidly into each chamber, filling it to capacity and thoroughly mixing with the reagents.
The system does not have 510(k) clearance and is not yet available for sale in the United States.
